Affiliate Disclosure
Effective date: 15 October 2026
Gray Tempo is paid by affiliate commission. This page explains what that means in practice, where the paid links are, and what the arrangement does and does not influence. It is the long version of the disclosure box you met on the homepage.
LOG 12-1 // 00:30
The arrangement in one paragraph
DUNAS COMPANY s.r.o., the publisher of this site, has an agreement with the affiliate network that operates the link to Enlisted. When a reader follows that link and then registers and confirms their email address, the network credits us a commission and pays it at a later date. That commission is the site's only source of revenue.
LOG 12-2 // 00:40
What it costs you
Nothing additional. A paid link does not change the price, the terms or the offer you see on the other end. Whatever the vendor charges, if it charges anything, is what you would pay arriving there any other way. The commission is paid by the network out of its own arrangement with the advertiser, not added to your side of the transaction.
LOG 12-3 // 00:50
Where the links are
We would rather tell you than make you find them. There are affiliate links to Enlisted in four places on this site, and nowhere else:
- On the homepage, in the section explaining where Enlisted appears in the course and why.
- In Step 1, in the section naming the example used throughout the course.
- In Step 3, in the section about the example's registration process.
- In Step 4, in the worked example about classification and spending.
Each of those links carries a one-line note beside it saying it is a paid link. Each opens in a new tab, and each points directly at the destination — we do not route clicks through a redirect of our own, and the address you see in your browser's status bar is the address you go to.
No other link on this site is paid. The links to the Australian Classification Board, the Australian Cyber Security Centre, Scamwatch, the eSafety Commissioner, the OAIC and the ACCC earn us nothing and exist because those bodies are the right source for what the course is describing.
LOG 12-4 // 01:04
What the commission does not decide
It does not decide what the course says. The five steps, the checklists and the cautions in them were written to be correct, and none of them was softened, added or removed because of the commercial arrangement. Step 4 tells you to set a spending limit before you install anything and explains why randomised purchases have an unknowable cost — that advice is there despite the funding model, not because of it.
It does not decide which products are mentioned by category either. Where a passage is about a category of product, it describes the category. We do not publish rankings, scores or "best of" lists, so there is no ranking for commission to influence.
LOG 12-5 // 01:16
What does decide the content
Three things, in this order. First, what a newcomer actually needs to know, in the sequence they need it — that is where the five steps came from. Second, what the responsible Australian body says, which is why claims about classification, consumer rights, privacy and online safety are linked to their source rather than paraphrased. Third, what the vendor itself states about its own product, which is the only source we use for facts about any individual game; where the vendor has not told us something, the course says so instead of guessing.
Which single title is named as the example is, honestly, decided by the commercial relationship. That is why the example is always framed as teaching material and never as a recommendation, and why the course sends you to the vendor's own site to check everything that matters. The editorial method behind all of this is set out in more detail on the About page.
LOG 12-6 // 01:30
What this site is not
It is not an official source for any game, not a reseller, not a partner and not an authorised distributor. It does not download or distribute software. It publishes no advertising beyond the affiliate links described above, takes no sponsored placements, and has no arrangement with any other company.
LOG 12-7 // 01:40
Trademarks
All brand names on Gray Tempo, Enlisted among them, are the property of their owners. Except for the paid affiliate links described on our funding page, none of those owners is affiliated with Gray Tempo, and none has endorsed or sponsored it.
