Privacy Policy

Effective date: 15 October 2026

This policy explains what happens to personal information in connection with the website at graytempo.online. The responsible entity is DUNAS COMPANY s.r.o., Střížkovská 630/114, Střížkov, 180 00 Praha 8, Czech Republic, company registration 02960141, contactable at info@graytempo.online. Where this policy says "we", it means DUNAS COMPANY s.r.o. by that name.

Personal information in connection with this site is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, which are published by the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au/privacy/australian-privacy-principles. Because that framework is organised as thirteen principles, so is this policy: each principle has its own short section saying what it means here. Where a principle has little application to a site like this one, the section says so plainly instead of padding.

This policy covers graytempo.online and nothing else. Any site you reach by following a link from here — including the affiliate link to Enlisted and the Australian government sites named throughout the course — is operated by someone else and has its own privacy policy, which governs what happens once you arrive there.

LOG 09-1 // 00:40

APP 1 — Open and transparent management of personal information

This policy is that openness. It is published at a permanent address, linked from the footer of every page, and written to describe the site as it actually is rather than as a template imagines it. We handle very little personal information, and the sections below state all of it.

LOG 09-2 // 00:48

APP 2 — Anonymity and pseudonymity

Reading this site requires no identification of any kind. There is no account, no sign-in and nothing to fill in. If you write to us, you may use a pseudonymous email address and you need not give your real name. The one exception is a request for access to or correction of personal information: there we need enough information to be satisfied the request is yours, because releasing information to the wrong person would be the greater harm.

LOG 09-3 // 00:56

APP 3 — Collection of solicited personal information

There are exactly two categories of information connected with this site.

(a) Server access logs. Our hosting provider records, in the ordinary course of serving a web page, your IP address, the date and time of the request, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and your browser's user-agent string.

(b) The content of emails you send us. If you write to info@graytempo.online, we hold your email address, any name you choose to give, the message itself and any attachment you send.

(c) Nothing else is collected. There are no forms and no input fields anywhere on this site. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, no newsletter, no quizzes and no progress tracking — the checklists do not remember which boxes you ticked. There are no cookies, no web fonts, no analytics, no advertising tags, no profiling and no cross-site tracking. The pages request nothing from any other server, so no third party receives anything about your visit.

LOG 09-4 // 01:08

APP 4 — Dealing with unsolicited personal information

Sometimes an email contains information we did not ask for and do not need in order to reply — an attachment unrelated to the question, or details about a third person. Where it is lawful and reasonable to do so, we delete that material rather than keeping it, and we do not use it for anything.

LOG 09-5 // 01:16

APP 5 — Notification of the collection of personal information

This page is the notification, and it is linked from every footer on the site. In short: logs are created automatically when you request a page, and email reaches us only because you chose to write. The purposes for each are set out under APP 6, the retention periods under APP 11's neighbouring section on retention, and the recipients under APP 8.

LOG 09-6 // 01:24

APP 6 — Use or disclosure of personal information

Access logs are used for keeping the site available and secure, identifying and preventing abuse, and diagnosing faults. Emails are used to read and reply to what you wrote, and to keep a record of that correspondence.

Neither category is used for anything else. We do not sell, rent, trade or share personal information for marketing, by anyone, at any price. We disclose information only where the law requires it — for example in response to a valid legal demand — and otherwise not at all.

Retention. Access logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Emails are kept for 24 months after the last message in the conversation, unless a longer period is necessary because the correspondence relates to a legal claim.

LOG 09-7 // 01:34

APP 7 — Direct marketing

We do not carry out direct marketing of any kind. There is no mailing list, no newsletter, no promotional email, and no "reminder" about an unfinished step in the course — the site does not know whether you have read one step or all five. If you write to us, we reply about what you wrote and nothing more.

LOG 09-8 // 01:42

APP 8 — Cross-border disclosure of personal information

Two recipients exist, and only two. Our hosting provider holds the access logs described above as part of hosting the site. Our email service provider holds the mailbox that receives messages sent to our contact address. No other organisation receives personal information from us.

Both of these providers may store or process data outside Australia. We have not been given, and therefore do not state, a specific country, so the honest statement is that the location may be outside Australia. Where you are in Australia and that matters to you, the practical consequence is that information held by those providers may be subject to the laws of the country in which it is stored.

LOG 09-9 // 01:52

APP 9 — Government related identifiers

No government related identifier is adopted, used or disclosed by this site. We do not ask for one, we have no field in which to put one, and there is nothing here that uses one as an identifier.

LOG 09-10 // 01:58

APP 10 — Quality of personal information

The only personal information we hold that could be inaccurate is what you have told us in an email. If something in our correspondence with you is wrong or out of date, write and tell us and we will correct it.

LOG 09-11 // 02:04

APP 11 — Security of personal information

The site is served over HTTPS. There is no database behind it and no stored submissions, because nothing is submitted. The hosting account and the mailbox are reachable only by people working for DUNAS COMPANY s.r.o., and access to them is limited to those who need it. We make no claim to any certification or standard, because we have none to point to and inventing one would be worse than silence. Information is deleted at the end of the retention periods stated under APP 6.

LOG 09-12 // 02:12

APP 12 — Access to personal information

You may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask for a copy. Write to info@graytempo.online with "Privacy request" in the subject line. There is no charge for making a request, and we reply within 30 days. In practice, unless you have emailed us, the only thing that could exist is a log entry that we cannot connect to you by name.

LOG 09-13 // 02:20

APP 13 — Correction of personal information

You may ask us to correct personal information we hold about you. Use the same address and the same subject line, and the same 30-day period applies. If we disagree that a correction is needed, we will say so and explain why, and you may ask us to attach a statement noting your view.

LOG 09-14 // 02:28

Affiliate links

When you follow the affiliate link to Enlisted, you leave graytempo.online. From that point, Enlisted and the affiliate network that operates the link may use cookies or similar technology on their own sites to record that the referral came from us, under their own privacy policies rather than this one. We have no control over, and no access to, whatever they set on their own domains.

DUNAS COMPANY s.r.o. receives commission reports from the network. Those reports are used only to reconcile payments, and we do not seek, request or attempt to obtain information from them that would identify an individual reader.

LOG 09-15 // 02:38

Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled personal information, write to info@graytempo.online first. We answer complaints within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which explains the process at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.

LOG 09-16 // 02:46

Data breaches

If we become aware of unauthorised access to, or disclosure or loss of, personal information connected with this site, we assess it promptly. Where serious harm is likely, we notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

LOG 09-17 // 02:54

Children

This site is not directed at people under 16. It is a written course for adults making decisions about software, and it collects nothing from anyone, so there is nothing collected that could identify a child.

LOG 09-18 // 03:00

Readers in the EU, the EEA and the UK

DUNAS COMPANY s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so European data protection law is also relevant to this site.

Our legal basis for the access logs is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available, secure and working. Our legal basis for handling emails is responding to the enquiry you have made. There is no consent basis anywhere, because there are no cookies and nothing to consent to.

Where that law applies to you, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, exercisable by writing to the address above. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. For this company that authority is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), uoou.gov.cz.

LOG 09-19 // 03:12

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the effective date at the top is updated. If a change is material, a note saying so is shown at the top of this page for 30 days after the change.
